Hours after Kangana Ranaut slammed Cockroach Janta Party (CJP) spokesperson Saurav Das and called him ‘useless’, the latter has hit back at actress-turned-politician. As reported by The Indian Express,
Das recently reacted to Ranaut’s criticism and urged everyone not to take her seriously.
“Kangana Ranaut is not taken seriously by her own party. So why should we take her seriously? I don’t think anyone in Gen Z, or in Gen Alpha, or any younger generation takes her seriously. Or listens to her,” he said.
“She is a politician. There were some videos of her when she visited Himachal Pradesh. She said, ‘I thought I would have to work a little. Here you have to work a lot as an MP.’ So this shows her seriousness,” he added, referring to an old interview of Ranaut in which she talked about balancing life as a first time MP.
“She is calling us an unserious generation. But she has exposed her seriousness. I won’t say much on this,” Das continued.
Saurav then objected to the language Kangana used in her recent Instagram posts while attacking CJP and added, “The wording is not right. Politicians should take responsibility for the wording. Politicians should uphold the dignity of their position.”
“Many times more than you, Gen Z has done for this country. Is doing. Gen Z has done the work of reawakening trust in this country’s democracy. You haven’t done it,” he said.
What Did Kangana Ranaut Say About Saurav Das?
In a lengthy Instagram Story shared on Monday, the Emergency actress mocked Das, questioned his credentials as a student and called him “useless” while defending her own achievements and public life.
“Googled this person and he is 28 years old, how he claims to be a student I have no clue!! Yes I am in politics for past 2 years but I have been in public life for last 20 years, at his age I had 2 National Awards, yes as a new parliamentarian I was overwhelmed with all the work because I am also a filmmaker + performing artist + producer + screen writer + entrepreneur,” she wrote.
Kangana then claimed he would never understand what it means to be successful and in demand. She added, “But someone like him who is totally useless and unemployed will never understand what it means to be in massive demand and at all times at any age. Dear Saurav your issues are personal, you are not a student you are simply useless, let’s start with learning some skill. It’s a good place to start.”
