Actor Kriti Sanon played the perfect maid of honour to sister, actor-singer Nupur Sanon. Ahead of her wedding on January 11th, Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben had a white wedding ceremony to honour Stebin’s
roots.
Styled by celebrity stylist Sukriti Grover, Nupur Sanon walked down the aisle in a custom Dany Tabet gown, and Stebin Ben wore a Falguni Shane Peacock tuxedo.
Joining in the celebration, Kriti Sanon adorned an ensemble which was specially made for her by Nupur. Nupur’s label NoBo designed the custom look for Kriti Sanon for the white wedding ceremony.
Kriti Sanon’s Maid Of Honour Ensemble
The one-shoulder draped dress from Nupur Sanon’s fashion label NoBo, realised in the shade of aqua, celebrated a pop of colour in a sea of ivory, gold and white. Kriti, styled by Sukriti, looked comfortably chic in the fluid silhouette.
Kriti has always been supportive of Nupur’s label NoBo, which she founded along with her mother, Geeta Sanon. In an interview with News18, Nupur has shared how Kriti Sanon has been her guinea pig model to test samples on. On various occasions, Kriti has been styled in designs from the brand, so it doesn’t come as a surprise that Nupur designed a special look for her maid of honour for the white wedding.
Sangeet Ceremony
For the sangeet function, Kriti Sanon danced the night away wearing Abhinav Mishra’s lehenga set. The multi-coloured lehenga set crafted in chanderi featured zari and mirror work that added shimmery details to Kriti’s stylish look. The peplum top with mirror tassels and side cuts added a dramatic feel to her desi look.
Haldi Ceremony
For Nupur Sanon and Stebin Ben’s haldi ceremony, Kriti Sanon adorned an Anushka Khanna signature yellow handkerchief kurta and an embellished waistcoat. The sunflower bandhani kurta and mustard mirror waistcoat was paired with an embroidered gharara. Crafted in silk crepe and gajji silk, the festive silhouette added vibrant elegance to Kriti’s overall style.
Cocktail Party
An evening of Sufi music was celebrated in a custom Tarun Tahiliani ensemble. The midnight blue hue featuring tonal embroidery celebrated India modern through Tarun’s contemporary couture lens. The asymmetric corset paired with a mermaid-style fitted skirt added sculpted royalty to Kriti Sanon’s cocktail look.
