Mumbai witnessed quite the spectacle at the Vikram Phadnis fashion gala recently, where Salman Khan made a stunning comeback on the runway as the showstopper. Among the sea of flashing cameras and celebrity
faces, one social media star stole hearts in his own quirky way — Orhan “Orry” Awatramani.
Orry, known for his flamboyant style and witty social media presence, was in full fun mode that evening. In what looks like a spontaneous reel, he zoomed in on Salman strutting down the ramp — but that’s not all. The video cuts back to Orry himself, mouth agape, eyes filled with delight. Over the visuals, the song Dekha Tainu Pehli Pehli Baar (from Mr. & Mrs. Mahi) plays — giving the whole moment a dreamy “love at first sight” vibe.
“Bhai >>” he wrote in the caption. Fans are already joking whether he’s found his Bollywood crush.
But the real plot twist came in the comments. Malaika Arora — present at the same show — dropped into Orry’s reel with a playful jab: “You are too funny.”
Malaika shares a personal link to the Khan family. She was married to Arbaaz Khan (Salman’s brother) from 1998 until their separation in 2016 and final divorce in 2017. Together, they have a son, Arhaan Khan, born in 2002. Despite the split, Malaika and the Khan family are said to maintain cordial ties.
As Orry continues to make strides in the entertainment world, the question about his real job before he became an influencer looms large over the minds of his fans. Now, Orry has finally revealed his previous sources of income.
Orry said in a video, “I used to bus tables. I used to eat the leftovers I’d see on my friends’ tables. I’ve stolen to make ends meet. That’s right, I’ve stolen. I sometimes used to sell myself, and I actually got really good at it. So, I would say this (influencing) is a pretty cool job, man. I get to take my guards out in public, make them chase me and film me living my best life. How can anyone with a soul come at me or make fun of me for that?”
Orhan Awatramani, or Orry, often goes viral for his hilarious statements and the mystery surrounding his profession, considering he is school friends with many Indian celebs and has also posed with some of the biggest names in Hollywood.
