Previously, Bhansali was eying Summer 2026 for Love & War release. However, the film’s production was delayed for certain reasons. Later, Ranbir Kapoor also confirmed the delay in an Instagram live session and revealed that the film will be released after Ramayana Part One, which is slated to hit the screens in October.
Recently, a report by IANS also claimed that Love & War has been delayed since some of the crucial scenes from the film are being reshot. Reportedly, this is being done because Bhansali is looking for perfection in his movie. The insider also revealed that since some important scenes are being reshot, this has also led to a spike in the film’s budget.
Meanwhile, Alia Bhatt had also expressed her excitement about the movie in an interview with News18 Showsha. “I, as an audience, am more excited to see him [Bhansali] and Ranbir collaborate, again, after so many years. I am like, ‘wow, what’s that going to be like?” Talking about reuniting with Vicky Kaushal, Alia continued by saying, “Vicky and I coming together again; Ranbir and Vicky created magic with Sanju. So, it is a lot of combinations,” she had said.
