Actor Vidyut Jammwal, known for his martial arts skills, particularly Kalaripayattu, has left fans impressed with yet another unusual feat. At a recent event, the actor reportedly held his breath and entered
a meditative state for around 15–16 minutes without blinking. His eyes eventually became visibly teary during the act. A video of the moment has since gone viral on social media, with netizens expressing amazement at Vidyut’s ability.

Recently, Vidyut Jammwal was seen attending a special Street Fighter event in Mumbai. He is set to make his Hollywood debut as the iconic yoga master Dhalsim in the upcoming live-action adaptation. The actor was seen showcasing the yogic practices that helped him connect with his character. At the event, Vidyut meditated alongside cosplayers dressed as Dhalsim. He remained still on stage for around 15 minutes while holding his breath, leaving those in attendance impressed by his remarkable discipline and control. After completing the practice, Vidyut explained that he had used a technique mentioned in the Patanjali Yoga Sutras.
While addressing the media, Vidyut said, “Main apni younger generation ko ek baat bolna chata hu, ruk jao thoda sa (I want to tell the younger generation to pause for a bit). ‘How do you get it?’ I don’t know how I got it, because I stood still. Hum dekh rahe hain ki sab log bhag rahe hai, yeh karna hai, voh karna hai, yeh karna hai, voh karna hai, kuch nahi karna hai; ek baar tham jao, ek baar ruk jao. That skill will really really take you very far. This is what I can tell you, thank you for witnessing this (Everyone is running, doing one thing or the other. Just pause for a minute).”
Soon after the video surfaced online, netizens were mighty impressed. One user wrote, “Bro trained himself like commando.” Another user wrote, “He is very talented.” A third user wrote, “He is superhuman.” One of the comments also read, “Bollywood doesn’t know how to select a perfect hero.”
Meanwhile, Street Fighter is set to release on October 16 in English, Hindi, Tamil and Telugu.
