A fresh poster for Bridgerton Season 4 is out, and it finally gives fans a clearer idea of who will matter most when the series returns. The image, shared by Netflix, places four characters front and centre,
some masked, some unmasked, all dressed in the kind of ornate regency-era finery the show has made its signature. The timing is no accident. It has been nearly two years since the last season aired, and anticipation has only grown louder.
With Season 4 now firmly in promotional mode, Netflix appears ready to remind viewers exactly why Bridgerton remains one of its most watched and talked-about titles.

Poster Signals A Shift In Focus
The new visual marks a shift toward a more concentrated narrative. Rather than teasing a sprawling ensemble, the poster narrows the spotlight to four figures expected to anchor the season’s main drama.
Masked faces hint at secrecy and social risk, themes the series has leaned into before but now seems poised to explore more deeply. The styling stays classic Bridgerton: polished, theatrical and heavy on symbolism. Even without dialogue, the image suggests tangled relationships and emotional stakes that won’t stay hidden for long.
Netflix has also confirmed that Season 4 will follow a split release pattern. The first batch of episodes arrives on January 29, with the remaining episodes dropping on February 26, stretching the anticipation across two key release windows.
Benedict Bridgerton And A Romance That Breaks The Rules
At the heart of the season is Benedict Bridgerton, played by Luke Thompson, who finally gets into a leading role after seasons of drifting between lovers and dodging expectations.
Opposite him is newcomer Sophie Baek, portrayed by Yerin Ha. Sophie is the mysterious woman in silver who catches Benedict’s eye at a masquerade ball hosted by his mother. What Benedict doesn’t know at first is the truth behind the mask. Sophie isn’t part of high society at all. She’s a maid. That secret alone places their connection on dangerous ground in a world obsessed with status.
Lady Violet’s Matchmaking And Colin’s New Reality
Also featured prominently is Lady Violet Bridgerton, played by Ruth Gemmell. After watching Benedict resist commitment for years, Violet takes matters into her own hands, orchestrating a masquerade meant to guide him toward a suitable match. The plan works, just not in the way she imagined.
The fourth figure on the poster is Colin Bridgerton, portrayed by Luke Newton. Fresh off finding love with Penelope Featherington in Season 3, Colin enters Season 4 changed. His carefree reputation no longer fits and his presence hints at how past romances will ripple through the new storyline.
