The National Testing Agency (NTA) will release the provisional answer key and response sheet for JEE Main 2026 Session 1 on February 4, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the examination will be able to
download the documents from the official website, jeemain.nta.nic.in using their login details.
If candidates find any errors in the provisional answer key, they will be allowed to raise objections by submitting valid explanations along with supporting documents.
The JEE Main 2026 Session 1 examination was conducted on January 21, 22, 23, 24, 28 and 29, 2026. Since the conclusion of the exams, candidates have been waiting for the release of the answer key to assess their performance.
How To Download JEE Main 2026 Answer Key?
Candidates can follow these steps to download the answer key:
Step 1: Visit the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in.
Step 2: Click on the link for the JEE Main answer key available on the homepage.
Step 3: The answer key PDF will appear on the screen.
Step 4: Download and save it for future reference.
Candidates who are not satisfied with the provisional answer key can challenge it between February 4 and 5, 2026. To submit a challenge, candidates will have to pay Rs 200 per question.
As stated in the official bulletin, “Challenges without justification/evidence and those filed on any other medium other than the prescribed link will not be considered.”

JEE Main 2026 Session 1 Result Date
According to the information bulletin released by NTA, the JEE Main 2026 Session 1 result is expected to be declared by February 12, 2026.
The final answer key will be prepared after reviewing all the challenges received, and the results will be announced based on the revised key.
