On a bustling city street, as people went about their day, a couple was spotted taking a brief pause from their hectic schedules to spend a few moments together. The two were seen sharing a conversation
over a plate of pani puri. At first glance, the scene seemed like a familiar, everyday sight, where two people were just enjoying each other’s company. But what made it stand out was what the two were wearing.
Both individuals were dressed in their respective companies’ uniforms. Completely engrossed in enjoying their plate of the beloved Indian street snack, they appeared unaware that someone nearby had captured the moment. In the picture, the woman was wearing a pink T-shirt with Snabbit printed on it, paired with black trousers. The man wore Zepto’s purple T-shirt with denim jeans. FYI, Snabbit is a quick-service app offering on-demand home services, whereas Zepto is another quick-commerce company that delivers groceries, essentials, and cafe items in minutes, typically under 10.
Snabbit And Zepto’s Executives React To The Phoot
What began as a simple, sweet moment soon caught the attention of the brands themselves. This photo was posted by Snabbit’s Head of Brand Marketing, Aayush Vyas and Zepto’s Chief Brand Officer, Chandan Mendiratta, on LinkedIn, who turned the unexpected sighting into a brand moment.
“Kya iss pyaar ko rishtedaari mein convert de, Chandan Mendiratta?” Aayush wrote in his post with a touch of humour. Meanwhile, Chandan responded in the comments, writing, “Yeh Rishta upar se likh Kar aaya hai.” Not stopping there, he also posted the photo on his timeline. “Found this on a post yesterday! Snabbit and Zepto seem to be having a cute Valentine’s moment over a Golgappa date. This is so beautiful!” wrote the Zepto Chief Brand Officer.
Internet Can’t Get Over The “Cute” Photo
The picture quickly drew the attention of social media users, who reacted to the sweet moment. One user said, “Only in India can competition pause for a golgappa date. This made me (laughing face emoji).”
“Mujhe kya, main to man in black t-shirt hoon,” another joked while pointing at the man right beside the couple who were seen enjoying a plate of pani puri.
“The best brand stories are always the unscripted ones happening on the streets,” said a different person.
“Iss pyaar ko kya naam du,” mentioned someone else.
Meanwhile, a section also objected to taking pictures of someone without their consent, saying, “Why take pictures of a couple without their consent? Is it ok if someone clicks your picture with your gf/bf and uploads it on social media?”
“I hope you have taken their consent before posting it on a social media platform, in search of getting views and reach. It’s so disgusting that people are posting anything,” said another individual.
