Following the conclusion of Lionel Messi’s three-day, four-city GOAT Tour in India, the global football icon shared a note of gratitude through his social media account. Taking to Instagram, the Argentine
footballer thanked Indians for their “warm welcome and great hospitality.” Alongside the note of thanks, he posted a video featuring some memorable moments from the tour.
It began when Lionel and his teammates, including Luis Suarez and Rodrigo De Paul, arrived in India. Subsequently, a statue of the soccer player holding the FIFA Cup was unveiled in Kolkata. He was then seen playing football in a stadium filled with spectators and posing with businessman Sanjiv Goenka, the founder and chairman of RPSG Group. The clip also featured some other special moments from the tour.

But what truly caught people’s attention online was a brief moment in the video when Bollywood actress Kareena Kapoor Khan was seen with Lionel Messi. She was accompanied by her two sons, Taimur and Jeh. The mother-sons trio happily posed for pictures with the three footballers. Taimur was all smiles, while Kareena’s younger son seemed intrigued and kept looking at the Argentine footballer.
Besides Kareena, Sachin Tendulkar was seen with Messi. The former Indian cricketer was seen presenting an Indian cricket jersey to the footballer.
