What is the story about?
India on Friday dismissed Pakistan’s comments on the Delimitation Bill, saying internal matters of India are not open to external input.
At a weekly press briefing in New Delhi, Ministry of External Affairs
spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India “rejects any attempts to intrude” into its domestic processes, responding to Pakistan’s reaction to provisions related to Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) in the legislation.
“On the delimitation exercise, the internal matters of India are internal matters of India, and we reject any attempts to intrude into them or make any such remarks,” Jaiswal stated.
