5, and since then, it has been ruling the box office. Well, to celebrate the milestone, look designer Preetisheel Singh shared new behind-the-scenes pictures featuring the film’s leading star, Ranveer Singh, and also showered praises on him.
Taking to her Instagram handle, Dhurandhar Look Designer Preetisheel Singh shared photos and praised the actor, “The man of the hour – Ranveer Singh @ranveersingh You never cease to amaze! We’ve worked on so many projects together, and somehow, you still manage to keep things fresh with your consistency, focus, and the way you immerse yourself into every role, leaving very little to chance. Directed by Aditya Dhar, the spy action thriller has drawn praise not only for Ranveer’s commanding screen presence but also for Akshaye Khanna’s powerful turn as Rehman Dakait — a menacing Pakistani crime lord and politician. Among the film’s most talked-about moments is Akshaye’s dramatic entry to the Bahraini rap track FA9LA. The sequence has taken social media by storm, prompting the makers to share an official clip from the film on X to capitalise on the buzz.
Star-Studded Spy Thriller Impresses Viewers
Directed and written by Aditya Dhar, Dhurandhar features a powerhouse cast including Akshaye Khanna, R. Madhavan, Arjun Rampal, Sanjay Dutt, Sara Arjun, and Rakesh Bedi. Ranveer Singh plays Hamza Ali Mazari, a young man who infiltrates Rehman Dakait’s (Akshaye Khanna) gang while secretly working as a spy for India. He later marries Yalina (Sara Arjun), the daughter of politician Jameel Jamali (Rakesh Bedi), adding layers to the intense narrative inspired by real-life incidents such as Operation Lyari.
The two-part spy thriller has a reported budget of Rs 275 crore and clocks in at 214 minutes (3 hours 34 minutes), making it one of the longest Indian films to date. With its current collections, Dhurandhar has already surpassed the lifetime earnings of Salman Khan’s recent release Sikandar, which grossed Rs 109.83 crore net in India. Analysts predict the film could cross Rs 150 crore domestically and Rs 250 crore worldwide by its second weekend, if not sooner. Despite mixed reviews from critics, audiences have embraced the film for its gripping storytelling, action sequences, and Ranveer Singh’s compelling performance. The second part of the film is slated for release on March 19, 2026, promising to continue the high-octane spy saga.
