While many people dream about having a luxury car in their garage, only a handful of them are actually able to turn it into a reality. Recently, a man caught his parents by surprise by gifting a Mercedes
car. The kind gesture has attracted widespread attention across social media, with many lauding the person for his efforts.
Autobest Emperio, a car dealer in Delhi, shared a video on its Instagram handle earlier this month. The clip starts with an elderly couple sitting at an outlet and enjoying their meal. Soon after, a man joins in and their son introduces him, saying that he is with Air India.
The person then says that he is now working at a car showroom nearby and deals in luxury vehicles. He then invites the family to visit the place after having their lunch.
“Parents have no idea what their son is about to gift them,” read the text written over the clip.
Later on, the family can be seen arriving at the showroom. “Even at this point, they have no idea what’s coming,” the text in the video mentioned.
What Happens Next?
As the video moves forward, the man reveals the surprise to his parents that they had planned for them.
While handing them the car keys, the person says, “Please take it. The first Mercedes of our life.” He even revealed that there was “no Air India party,” for which he asked them to join. He further joked that the person they met earlier never worked with Air India.
“This is not my car. It is yours,” he told his parents.
The clip then shows the family celebrating the delivery of their luxury vehicle by cutting a cake at the showroom, which was decorated with ballons. Towards the end, the man’s mother looks emotional as he asks his parents to sit in their new car.
“You have spent a lot on me. I want to tell you it was all worth it. I am happy that I am capable enough to get it done,” the man said and later bowed down in front of his parents.
He even shared that he booked the Mercedes E-Class for his parents, adding that the entire experience was “phenomenal”.
