Actor Soha Ali Khan recently shared an 11-ingredient, vibrant, nutrient-packed smoothie recipe on Instagram, calling it her “happy New Year present” for her fans. This green juice is something she has
most mornings and is perfect for busy mornings or post-workout recovery; this blend combines everyday veggies, superfoods, and hydrating liquids into a smooth, drinkable elixir. With no added sugars or processed ingredients, it’s a testament to Soha’s holistic approach to health, blending Bollywood glamour with mindful nutrition.
She captioned it, “This is not a detox juice — your liver already does that well enough, but think of this as gentle daily support: hydration, fibre, minerals, and anti-inflammatory foods that help the body do what it already knows how to do.”

Simply toss ½ carrot, ½ cucumber, 2 stalks of celery, ¼ cup of coconut water, 1½ tsp of soaked chia seeds, cubed dragon fruit, grated ginger, coriander leaves, steamed mung bean sprouts, 1½ tsp of hemp seeds, and a handful of baby greens into a blender. Whirl until smooth, thinning with extra coconut water if needed. One sip delivers a fresh, earthy flavour with subtle sweetness from the dragon fruit—ideal for detoxification and vitality.
In the caption, Soha added, “I usually have this after breakfast and before lunch and find it helps with digestion, hormone balance and sustained energy — especially on mornings that feel heavy or sluggish.”
Each ingredient shines with targeted health perks. Carrots provide beta-carotene, boosting vision and immunity while acting as a natural antioxidant. Cucumbers hydrate deeply (96% water), reduce inflammation, and support skin elasticity with silica. Celery aids digestion via its fibre and phthalides, lowering blood pressure and flushing toxins.
Coconut water replenishes electrolytes, preventing dehydration and balancing pH levels post-exercise. Chia seeds, soaked overnight, offer omega-3s for heart health, plus fibre that stabilises blood sugar and promotes gut regularity. Dragon fruit’s antioxidants combat free radicals, enhance immunity with vitamin C, and fibre aids weight management.
Ginger’s gingerol eases nausea, ignites metabolism, and fights oxidative stress. Coriander leaves detoxify heavy metals, freshen breath, and supply vitamin K for bone strength. Mung bean sprouts, lightly steamed, deliver plant protein, folate for cell repair, and enzymes that boost digestion.
Hemp seeds pack complete protein, magnesium for muscle relaxation, and GLA fatty acids, reducing PMS symptoms. Rotating baby greens, lettuce, or microgreens ensures a broad spectrum of vitamins A, C, K, and folate, fortifying immunity and alkalising the body.
