Adding to the trail of destruction in the hill states, a massive landslide and cloudburst struck Sainji village in the Pabo block of Pauri Garhwal in Uttarakhand, officials said.
Some migrant Nepali workers
reportedly went missing in a flash flood that hit the Bankura village in Thailisain block of the district around 10.30 am today.
The latest tragedies come a day after a cloudburst in Uttarkashi triggered a flash flood in high-altitude villages of Dharali, toppling several buildings and engulfing a large part of the area.
Earlier today, another hill state — Himachal Pradesh — saw a cloudburst incident in Kinnaur, which led to flood-like conditions in the district.
