Nitesh Tiwari’s Ramayana is one of the most anticipated films of 2026. The grand mythological saga will see Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama and Sai Pallavi as Sita. Recently, on April 2, the first look of Ranbir was
launched online, and it received a massive thumbs up from the audience. However, a section of people were seen calling out the “poor VFX” work, and comparing it to Prabhas’ film Adipurush. Now, Yash, who will be seen playing Ravana in the film, has reacted to the ongoing criticism, describing it as “work-in-progress.”
Yash reacts to backlash over VFX in Ramayana
The team of Ramayana has kick-started the promotions. Recently, Yash and producer Namit Malhotra were seen gracing the CinemaCon 2026 in Los Angeles, where they spoke about the most ambitious project in Indian cinema. In a video going viral on social media, the KGF actor can be seen talking about the visual effects. He can be heard saying, “It’s DNEG (the VFX company) on board. So the photo – realistic, the visuals that you are talking – it’s still work in progress. I am sure it will be even better when we’ll see the finished product. We are really making a product which is top-notch.” Have a look:
