At the success meet of Kiran Abbavaram’s film K-Ramp, producer Bandla Ganesh made headlines for his explosive remarks that appeared to target a Telugu superstar without taking any names. The outspoken
producer’s comments, aimed at an unnamed actor’s attitude and off-screen persona, have now triggered massive backlash from Vijay Deverakonda’s fans on social media.
Fans Believe Bandla Ganesh Targeted Vijay Deverakonda
During his speech, Bandla Ganesh praised Kiran Abbavaram for maintaining humility despite back-to-back successes. He said, “These days, some people get one hit and start showing off like they have conquered the world. They wear glasses at midnight and act like superstars. But Kiran is different. Even after hits, he stays humble and focused.”
Ganesh went on to call Kiran an inspiration for aspiring actors, adding, “He came to the industry with passion and honesty. That’s why success followed him. Honesty and hard work always win in the end.”
I think that Bandla Ganesh was deeply hurt by VD's words at the Little Hearts success meet. Vijay Devarakonda also introduced new directors and delivered classics. #Kramp pic.twitter.com/2I3J0EalcC

His statements quickly went viral, with many netizens claiming that Ganesh was indirectly referring to Vijay Deverakonda. Social media platforms were flooded with reactions from angry fans. One fan wrote, “Konda gadu @TheDeverakonda What’s up? What’s up?”, while another commented, “Only he can turn a film launch into a full-blown stage act.”
A user criticised the producer, writing, “This was so unnecessary — mocking other actors!” Another fan defended Vijay, posting, “Let them talk, let them mock. You just need one solid blockbuster to silence it all. A generation still remembers #ArjunReddy — the storm you created.”
Not everyone, however, felt Ganesh was targeting Vijay. One user argued, “Kiran is his friend’s son. Don’t think he’s taking a dig at him. It’s just a comment.”
This isn’t the first time Bandla Ganesh has drawn attention for making controversial statements. A few months ago, during the success meet of Mouli’s Little Heart, he warned newcomers about false industry praise, saying, “They will say you look smarter than Vijay Deverakonda or Mahesh Babu—it’s all fake. Every Friday brings a new hero.”
As reactions pour in, neither Bandla Ganesh nor Vijay Deverakonda has commented on the controversy yet.
