a video making the rounds on the internet shows the diva in her young age, engaging in a playful exchange of words with her friend and director, Karan Johar.
The video was captured from the sets of Simi Garewal’s popular talk show, Rendezvous with Simi Garewal, when one of the episodes was graced by Kajol and Karan Johar. In a casual moment before the beginning of the show, the filmmaker asks his actress-cum-close friend to put her hair behind her. He even makes a notable comment comparing Kajol and Rekha’s style.
Karan Johar And Kajol’s Undeniable Chemistry
Karan Johar playfully asked Kajol, “Put your hair behind, no? Why has it come in front? Why are you doing the Rekha look?”
Host Simi, taken aback, responded, “Doing what?”
KJo clarified with a laugh, “I said, why are you doing the Rekha?”
Surprised by the comparison, Simi quipped back with a witty retort, “Because of the mic, stupid. Idiot!”
To this, the director then replies, “I didn’t know. But the mic is on that side. You’re hiding that side?” Finally, Kajol in her signature tone, replies, “So you don’t want the hair to come on the mic, no, you brain surgeon. Can’t believe you’re a director.” This made KJo end the conversation apologising for his misunderstanding, and didn’t forget to clarify his tone on sarcasm. “Oh, sorry, very sorry. TV is not my medium,” he quipped.
