The Vir Das film wrapped up its first weekend, and as per a report by Sacnilk it collected a total Rs 5.5 crore in 7 days. As per the early estimates, the film has earned Rs. 15 lakh on its Day 7.
Let us tell you that the film is reportedly made on a budget of Rs 25 crore. The film stars Vir Das in the titular role. For the unversed, Happy Patel is a spy comedy drama. Mona Singh plays Mama, the don of Panjor, while Mithila Palkar appears as Rupa and Sharib Hashmi as Geet. Aamir Khan makes a cameo as Don Jimmy, and Imran Khan features as Milind Morea.

Happy Patel: Khatarnaak Jasoos vs Rahu Ketu Box Office Collections
Alongside Vir Das’ Happy Patel, the Pulkit Samrat–Varun Sharma starrer Rahu Ketu also hit theatres on January 16, 2026. Both films opened to largely positive initial reviews, which reflected in their opening-day box office numbers. Each film managed to collect over Rs 1 crore on Day 1.
However, Rahu Ketu too failed to sustain momentum and ultimately turned out to be another box office disappointment. The film earned approximately Rs 0.27 crore on Day 7, taking its total collection to Rs 6.07 crore, slightly higher than Happy Patel’s overall earnings.
