Malaika Arora paid her last respects to Sucheta Bhat on Wednesday, January 14. The Bollywood diva was spotted by the paparazzi as she arrived at the Lilavati Hospital in Mumbai to offer her condolences.
She was also accompanied by her mother, sister Amrita Arora and son, Arhaan, at the funeral.
In a video shared on Instagram, the Arora family was seen gathered for Sucheta Bhat’s last rites. Dressed in traditional all-white ethnic outfits, Malaika, along with her family members, appeared visibly emotional as they mourned the loss and offered their final condolences. Sucheta Bhatt was very close to family and much information is not availabe about her.

Besides Malaika and her family, actress Anjali Anand was also spotted by the paparazzi at the venue. Anjali, who began her acting career with popular television shows such as Kulfi Kumarr Baajewala, Dhai Kilo Prem, and Untag, has also made her mark in Bollywood. She was seen in Karan Johar’s Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahanii. Most recently, she was seen in the web series Dabba Cartel, which premiered on the OTT giant Netflix. The show also featured celebs like Shabana Azmi, Jyothika, Shalini Pandey and Sunil Grover in the lead roles.

Malaika Arora made a dazzling return to the big screen in 2025 with a peppy dance number in Ayushmann Khurrana and Rashmika Mandanna’s horror-comedy Thamma. Titled Poison Baby, the track saw the Bollywood diva set the stage on fire with her sizzling performance. She later appeared in a music video, Chillgum, sung by Honey Singh.
Beyond music and film, Malaika was also seen in the unique reality show Pitch to Get Rich. The show, produced by the Fashion Entrepreneur Fund (FEF) and Karan Johar’s Dharmatic Entertainment, featured Malaika alongside Karan Johar, Manish Malhotra, and Akshay Kumar as judges, mentors, and investors. With an investment pool of Rs 40 crore, the show aimed to nurture India’s next generation of fashion entrepreneurs.

The actress is currently judging the latest season of India’s Got Talent. Hosted by the ever-hilarious Haarsh Limbachiyaa, the show also includes Navjot Singh Siddhu and singer Shaan as judges.
