Arjun Kapoor’s sister Anshula Kapoor, has shared her first post as a married woman after tying the knot with longtime partner Rohan Thakkar in an intimate ceremony attended by close family and friends
on Monday. Anshula is the daughter of Boney Kapoor and his first wife, Mona Kapoor.
For the wedding, Anshula wore a beautiful coral and gold bridal lehenga paired with statement emerald and kundan jewellery, while Rohan complemented her in an ivory-gold sherwani and matching turban. One of the most touching photographs featured a framed portrait of Anshula’s late mother, Mona Shourie Kapoor, placed beside the wedding rituals. Another special detail was her personalised kaleeras, adding a meaningful touch to her bridal look.
Sharing the pictures, Anshula wrote, “Of all the people. Of all the places. Of all the timing. It was you. And somehow, through every twist, detour, and surprise, it is still you. My favourite conversation. My safest place. My easiest choice. Always you.”
Anshula and Arjun Kapoor are Boney Kapoor’s children with his first wife, Mona Shourie Kapoor, while Janhvi Kapoor and Khushi Kapoor are his daughters with his second wife, Sridevi. Although the siblings were once believed to have had a distant relationship, they grew closer after Sridevi’s death in 2018, with Arjun and Anshula stepping in to support the family during a difficult period. Since then, the four siblings have often been seen celebrating festivals, birthdays and family occasions together.
That bond was on full display at Anshula’s wedding, where Janhvi and Khushi were actively involved in the ceremonies. In the wedding photos shared by Anshula on Instagram, Janhvi was seen holding the couple’s wedding rings, while Khushi lovingly adjusted the bride’s maang tikka ahead of the sindoor ceremony. The sisters had also hosted a surprise mehendi celebration for Anshula before the wedding, with the bride later thanking them for making the festivities so special.
Anshula and Rohan first connected on a dating app in 2022 and got engaged in New York in 2025 after dating for around three years. Their intimate wedding took place on July 6, 2026, in the presence of close family and friends.
