LinkedIn has released its annual Jobs on the Rise list for Delhi, highlighting roles that have grown the fastest over the past three years. The list shows how hiring trends in the capital are shifting,
with rising demand for both technology-led leadership roles and service-oriented jobs.
“From AI leadership to creative services like wedding planning and essential operational roles, the list underscores industries balancing innovation with everyday needs in a changing world of work,” LinkedIn said.
Based on hiring trends, the list provides details on key skills, industries recruiting for these roles, experience levels and work flexibility.
AI Engineer
AI engineers top the list as companies increasingly adopt artificial intelligence across products and services. These professionals design and deploy AI systems and work with tools such as large language models, deep learning and PyTorch. Hiring is strongest in technology, IT services and consulting. In 2025, 17 per cent of hires were women, while 83 per cent were men. The median prior experience required is two years.
Director of Artificial Intelligence
This senior role focuses on setting the vision and governance for AI initiatives within organisations. Directors of AI commonly work with natural language processing and retrieval-augmented generation. Most opportunities are in consulting and technology sectors, with women accounting for 18 per cent of hires in 2025.
Accounting Coordinator
Accounting coordinators support day-to-day financial operations, including record management and transaction processing. These roles are in demand in industries such as travel, credit intermediation and IT consulting. Women made up 35 per cent of hires last year.
Regulatory Compliance Analyst
Regulatory compliance analysts ensure that organisations follow legal and regulatory requirements. Demand is high in consulting, recruitment and legal services. The role shows a near-equal gender split, with women comprising 52 per cent of hires in 2025.
Brand Designer
Brand designers shape a company’s visual identity and creative messaging. Hiring is common in design services, recreation and electronics manufacturing. The role saw equal representation of men and women among new hires.
Wedding Planner
Wedding planners have seen rising demand as large events return. These professionals manage vendors, logistics and event design, with most jobs coming from event services, hospitality and advertising. In 2025, women accounted for 60 per cent of hires.
President Of Sales
Presidents of sales lead revenue strategy and sales teams. The role is growing in sectors such as real estate, building materials and travel. It typically requires significant experience, with men making up 85 per cent of hires.
Fleet Manager
Fleet managers oversee logistics, maintenance and transport operations to improve efficiency. Hiring is strong in technology, transportation and manufacturing. The role remains male-dominated, with women accounting for just 2 per cent of hires.
Horticulturist
Horticulturists focus on plant care, landscaping and sustainable green spaces. Demand is rising in real estate, facilities management and farming, reflecting a growing focus on environmental planning.

Supply Chain Director
Supply chain directors manage procurement, production and distribution functions. These roles are in demand in technology, IT services and food and beverage sectors, with professionals typically bringing around six years of prior experience.
