The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released an important update for candidates who appeared in the NEET UG 2026 re-examination. The agency has uploaded the scanned OMR answer sheets and recorded responses
on its official website, allowing candidates to review their responses by logging in with their credentials.
To access the documents, candidates must complete a two-factor authentication (OTP) verification process. They will need to enter their application number and password to access the OMR sheets and recorded responses. According to the NTA, this additional security measure ensures that only the respective candidate can view their OMR sheet and recorded responses.
Objection Window For Recorded Responses
Candidates who find discrepancies in their recorded responses can submit objections through the official portal. The objection window opened on July 13, 2026, and will remain active until 11 AM on July 15, 2026. The NTA has stated that no challenges will be accepted after the deadline.
A non-refundable fee of Rs 200 per question must be paid for each objection. The agency has clarified that challenges submitted without the prescribed fee will not be considered, and candidates must complete the online payment process while filing their objections.

The agency has advised candidates not to wait until the last moment to submit their objections. Those who identify any discrepancy should complete the challenge process within the specified deadline and upload the necessary supporting documents along with the required fee.
Candidates are also encouraged to rely only on the official NTA website for the latest updates and announcements to avoid misinformation or rumors circulating through unofficial sources.
