even Rs 100 just to get a ride. This has become a daily struggle, especially during busy hours.
Now, a new feature on Rapido has triggered fresh anger online. A man from Bengaluru took to Reddit to rant about the app after seeing an alert that pushed him to add extra money almost instantly.
User Slams Rapido’s Feature
In his post, he shared a screenshot from the Rapido app. At the top of the image, it showed a message saying, “Captains aren’t accepting at Rs 200. Try adding more.” Below it, options like +Rs 35, +Rs 45, +Rs 55, and +Rs 65 were displayed. The man was frustrated that the app pushed this suggestion within seconds of searching for a ride.
He posted the screenshot with the title, “This has got to be the worst feature any app has ever introduced.” He also added a caption below the photo that read, “The fact that Rapido doesn’t even wait for 30 seconds before showing me this shit pisses me off.”

Many users said they have stopped relying on apps altogether. An individual wrote, “I don’t disagree. I have deleted all of these apps. Now, I use public transportation or my scooter if public transportation is not available.”
