The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) declared the results of the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance-Test postgraduate (NEET PG) 2025 on . This year, more than 2.42 lakh candidates
had registered for the exam, held in a single shift on August 3 following a Supreme Court directive.
Out of 2,30,114 candidates who appeared, 1,28,116 have qualified for the counselling process for MD, MS, and PG diploma seats in medical colleges across India.
The scorecards have been made available on the official websites — natboard.edu.in and nbe.edu.in.
Dip In Cut-Off Marks
NBEMS has also released the category-wise cut-off scores. For the General/EWS category, the qualifying mark is 276 at the 50th percentile, which is lower than 291 in 2023 but slightly above 275 in 2022. For General-PwBD candidates, the cut-off is 255 (45th percentile), while SC, ST, and OBC candidates (including PwBD) need 235 (40th percentile) to qualify.
It is worth noting that in 2024, the NBEMS did not declare cut-off marks, as a normalisation method was adopted due to the exam being conducted in two shifts.

- Enter registration number and password.
- Submit the details to view the result.
- Download and print the scorecard for future reference.
With the declaration of results, the NEET PG 2025 counselling process is set to begin shortly, paving the way for admissions to postgraduate medical courses across India.
The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) will oversee the counselling for All India Quota (AIQ) seats through its official website, mcc.nic.in, with the detailed schedule to be announced soon. Meanwhile, state quota counselling will be conducted separately by the respective state authorities on their official portals.
