During the trailer launch event, Kajol said that The Trial Season 2 is more complex than Speaking at the launch event, Kajol gave her insight into what makes Season 2 different. She shared, “This season is much more interesting and complex. It is the kind of story that is a common story, and if we talk about the strength of women, I think every woman has that strength and for her children, sometimes for herself, they make decisions in their life. Some day Noyonika is a good mother, some day she is a good lawyer, depending on the day and depending on the episode.”

Adapted from Robert and Michelle King’s The Good Wife, the second season will delve deeper into Nayanka’s struggle to establish herself in the cutthroat world of law.
