Prime Minister Narendra Modi made an unexpected stop at a roadside jhalmuri stall in Jhargram on Sunday while campaigning for the West Bengal Assembly elections, drawing a large crowd and creating a buzz
in the area. The incident occurred shortly after Modi addressed a public rally in Jhargram. He was on his way to board a helicopter when he made the unplanned stop at the roadside stall.
Stepping out of his vehicle, Modi approached the jhalmuri vendor and had the popular snack freshly prepared. He shared the snack with children present at the spot and also interacted with local women who had gathered nearby. The Prime Minister himself tasted the jhalmuri during the brief stop.

PM Modi Calls For Political Change In Jhargram
During a rally in the tribal-dominated region of Jhargram, PM Narendra Modi launched a sharp attack on the ruling Trinamool Congress, accusing it of being “anti-tribal” and “anti-women.”
Addressing the Vijay Sankalp Sabha, Modi alleged that the state government had ignored key local concerns, including illegal land occupations. He claimed that the voices of tribal communities and women in the region had been consistently overlooked.
The Prime Minister urged voters to remove the TMC from power in the upcoming elections, emphasizing the need for a change in governance in West Bengal. The rally marked his third visit to the state as part of the ongoing election campaign.
