that the actress has increased her fee for films to Rs 12 crore. While this remains unconfirmed, Trisha’s fans are happy that after nearly 20 years in the industry, she continues to be one of the most popular actresses in South India.
According to reports from MoneyControl and Milagro Movies, Trisha Krishnan has increased her per-film fee from Rs 10 crore to Rs 12 crore. When the actress started her career, she was reportedly paid only Rs 500 for a small role. This fee hike now marks a significant step in Trisha’s career. However, she has yet to confirm the new charge.
According to reports, the actress is being considered for a major big-budget film starring legendary actors Kamal Haasan and Rajinikanth. Trisha has allegedly been offered nearly Rs 12 crore for the film. Interestingly, the project is reportedly being backed by Udhayanidhi Stalin, a senior leader associated with the DMK party, which has often been viewed as politically opposed to Vijay’s camp.

This report comes at a time when Trisha is already in the news for her personal and professional life. On the personal front, Trisha Krishnan’s close bond with Vijay was once again highlighted when he contested the recent Assembly elections and swore in as Tamil Nadu’s new Chief Minister.
Trisha was spotted visiting Vijay’s house on her birthday, which was also the day that the votes were being counted. She also joined his family for his oath ceremony and was seen greeting Vijay’s mother. As per the rumour mill, Vijay is dating Trisha despite already being married to Sangeetha Sornalingam. However, neither Vijay nor Trisha has addressed these rumours.
Karuppu: Review, Box Office, And Cast
Meanwhile, on the work front, Trisha’s Karuppu with Suriya is finally out in theatres and has opened to good reviews and box office numbers. According to the tracker Sacnilk, Karuppu earned Rs 16.66 crore gross in India, and its total worldwide opening day collection stands at Rs 20.66 crore.
Directed by RJ Balaji, Karuppu is billed as a fantasy action drama. The trailer introduced a world where corrupt lawyers exploit and oppress the underprivileged. As the question arose over who would protect the helpless, Karuppusamy, the deity associated with justice, took human form to safeguard his people and restore balance.
Besides Suriya and Trisha Krishnan, the film also stars Indrans, Natty Subramaniam, Swasika, Sshivada, Anagha Maaya Ravi and others in important roles. RJ Balaji, besides directing the film, is also seen as the antagonist. Sai Abhyankar has handled the background score of the film.
