The excitement surrounding Prabhas’ upcoming film, The Raja Saab, is at an all-time high, especially after the makers unveiled fresh details about the fantasy horror-comedy. To pique the interest of viewers
even more, the makers opened advanced bookings, and despite a relatively late start, the Pan-India release has witnessed impressive pre-sales at the global box office for its opening day.
The romantic horror-comedy has already sold approximately 5,62,911 tickets, amassing over Rs 50 crore in worldwide advance bookings. Overseas markets have shown strong traction as well, contributing nearly Rs 22 crore from Day 1 premiere sales alone.
The Raja Saab’s Advance Booking Report
According to a report by Sacnilk, advance bookings for The Raja Saab are performing exceptionally well in Andhra Pradesh, largely driven by strong premiere sales that have crossed Rs 10 crore. However, the film’s pre-sales have been comparatively subdued in the Hindi belt. Despite Prabhas delivering consistently solid box-office performances in the past, The Raja Saab has witnessed muted advance bookings for its Hindi version.
The Raja Saab sold 7,000 tickets in the top two national chains, PVR Inox and Cinepolis, for the opening day in the North Indian belt. The Raja Saab’s fate is heavily dependent on Prabhas’ star power, festival timing, and word-of-mouth among the audience. If the film opens to a positive reaction and has a blockbuster run, its sales are expected to skyrocket.
