The much-anticipated third instalment of the Force franchise, Force 3, has officially begun production in Gujarat. The action-packed film features John Abraham,Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala in significant
roles. The project is being directed by Bhav Dhulia, widely known for his work on the acclaimed web series Khakee: The Bihar Chapter.
The team recently kicked off the shoot with a traditional muhurat puja ceremony, marking the official start of filming. The first schedule is currently underway in Gujarat, where the opening scenes of the movie are being shot.
Force 3 Shooting Begins in Gujarat
The initial phase of filming is focusing primarily on scenes featuring Harshvardhan Rane and Tanya Maniktala. While the production has already started rolling cameras, John Abraham has not yet begun filming his portions.
The early schedule reportedly includes several key sequences involving Harshvardhan and Tanya, setting the stage for the film’s storyline. The production team chose Gujarat as the location for the opening schedule due to its diverse landscapes that suit the film’s action-driven narrative.
John Abraham Attends Muhurat Ceremony
According to reports from OTT Play, John Abraham attended the film’s muhurat ceremony along with the cast and crew. However, his scenes are not part of the current shooting schedule.
The actor was present during the launch rituals but is expected to join the production in the coming days. Once he joins the shoot, the team will begin filming his action-heavy sequences.
Harshvardhan Rane Shares Puja Video From Force 3 Sets
Harshvardhan Rane also gave fans a glimpse of the film’s beginning by sharing a video from the puja ceremony on his social media.
Along with the video, he wrote in the caption, “May the #FORCE 3 with us. Dir by @bhav.dhulia Written by @simaabhashmi. 1st schedule in #Gujrat.”

Harshvardhan Rane and John Abraham’s Mentor–Mentee Bond
Another interesting aspect of Force 3 is the strong personal connection between Harshvardhan Rane and John Abraham. The two actors share a close relationship that dates back to the early days of Harshvardhan’s career.
During his initial struggle in the film industry, John Abraham reportedly encouraged and supported him. Because of that experience, Harshvardhan often regards John as one of his mentors in Bollywood. Before joining Force 3, Harshvardhan had already collaborated with John Abraham in the film Tara vs Bilal, which John produced.
John Abraham to Return as ACP Yashvardhan Singh
In the upcoming film, John Abraham is expected to reprise his iconic role as ACP Yashvardhan Singh, a character that fans strongly associate with the Force franchise.
Although the project was initially expected to begin filming by late 2025, production eventually commenced in early 2026. Reports also suggest that the storyline of Force 3 may lean closer to the tone and style of the original Force rather than its sequel Force 2.
