Wamiqa Gabbi has officially announced her next film, Kuku Ki Kundli, where she will be seen sharing screen space with Bhuvan Bam. The announcement was made with the unveiling of the film’s first poster
at Prime Video. The film will be released on OTT Prime Video after its theatrical run.

Kuku Ki Kundali BTS Glimpse
Recently, videos were making rounds online were shot in Lucknow and give fans a sneak peek of the film’s shoot. In one video, a massive setup can be seen outside an auto. As the auto drives by, Wamiqa and Bhuvan make a quick appearance. Wamiqa stuns in a traditional suit, while Bhuvan rocks glasses with a casual orange sweater and jeans, ready for their scene. That’s not all, more videos from the shoot are going viral online. In one clip, Wamiqa and Bhuvan, wearing the same outfits, are seen shooting on the bustling streets of Lucknow. Wamiqa Gabbi is reportedly one of the female leads in Kuku Ki Kundali, which features a quirky romantic story with a supernatural twist. The film follows a man whose horoscope threatens his marriage plans, and tradition requires him to first marry a ghost. Blending humour with supernatural elements, the film is said to be shaping up as an offbeat marriage comedy.
‘Sapne Dekho Dosto’
Since Kuku Ki Kundali is backed by Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions, it’s already a big deal. In October 2025, Bhuvan Bam shared a close-up picture of the signed contract with Dharma Productions, officially announcing his collaboration with the production house. He captioned it, “Sapne dekho doston, poore ho jaate hain,” making the announcement even more exciting for fans.
Wamiqa Gabbi’s work front
The actress is currently busy with the promotion of Bhooth Bangla with Akshay Kumar. Made under the direction of Priyadarshan, Bhooth Bangla blends supernatural elements with comedy. Set inside a haunted house, the film is filled with funny and chaotic moments that will tickle the funny bones of the audiences. Expect quick comic gags, lively background music and moments of the ensemble cast dealing with mysterious happenings.
Apart from the lead pair, the horror-comedy features a stellar cast of powerhouse performers such as Paresh Rawal, Asrani, and Rajpal Yadav in pivotal roles. The film marks the reunion of Akshay and Priyadarshan after a long gap of 14 years.
The project is backed by jointly backed by Akshay Kumar, Shobha Kapoor, and Ektaa R Kapoor, with the production being handled by Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Kumar’s banner Cape of Good Films. Mark your calendars! Bhooth Bangla is set to release on April 10.
