New Delhi, May 12 (PTI) Indian fabless chip firm HrdWyr has raised USD 13 million (about Rs 124 crore), in a funding round led by Ideaspring Capital to accelerate the development of AI-native system-on-chip
products and expand customer engagements across key global markets, the company said on Tuesday.
Investment firms Singularity AMC, Avatar Growth Capital, and IT firm Persistent Systems participated in the funding round.
“HrdWyr raises USD 13 million in series A to build next-Gen AI-native chips to accelerate the age of Physical AI,” the company said in a statement.
HrdWyr operates as a full-stack, fabless semiconductor product company, differentiating itself from traditional IP licensing or services-led models.
The company designs end-to-end semiconductor products for global markets and claims to integrate AI directly into chip architecture, enabling intelligence to operate at the point of data generation.
This allows devices to sense, learn, and respond in real time.
Such approach is particularly relevant for high-volume, cost-sensitive markets where efficiency and responsiveness matter more than raw compute performance, the statement said.
The company recently announced a strategic collaboration with boAt, marking an early validation of its approach in the consumer technology segment. PTI PRS PRS DR DR
