Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha have shared their most personal moment yet with fans. The actor couple, who recently welcomed a baby girl, have now revealed their daughter’s name and offered a first, tender
glimpse of her on social media. The photo, shared jointly on Instagram, shows a close-up of tiny fingers wrapped gently around her parents’ hands. It is intimate, soft and emotional, capturing the joy of new parenthood without revealing the baby’s face. Alongside the photo, the couple wrote, “With folded hands and full hearts, we introduce our greatest blessing.” They then revealed their daughter’s name: Parvati Paul Rao, adding heart and folded-hands emojis. The name has already struck a chord with fans. Rooted in tradition and meaning, Parvati symbolises strength, grace and devotion, while Paul and Rao reflect Patralekha and Rajkummar’s family names. The announcement quickly drew love from across the industry, with congratulatory messages pouring in for the new parents.
Rajkummar Rao and Patralekha welcomed their baby girl in November 2025. The couple issued a joint statement and revealed that their little princess arrived on the occasion of their fourth wedding anniversary. “We are over the moon. God has blessed us with a baby girl,” the couple wrote and then added, “The greatest blessing God has given us on our 4th wedding anniversary.”
Their love story is one of Bollywood’s most heartfelt romances. The two first met over a decade ago, and their bond has only grown stronger with time. Rajkummar has often said he knew she was “the one” from the moment he saw her in an ad, and their connection blossomed when they worked together in the film CityLights in 2014. In October 2021, Rajkummar proposed to Patralekhaa in an intimate ceremony, and the two tied the knot a month later on November 15 in Chandigarh.
On the work front, Rajkummar Rao is set to star in Toaster, a quirky comedy on Netflix produced by his own banner KAMPA Films, with Sanya Malhotra as his co-lead. He is also gearing up for a major role as public prosecutor Ujjwal Nikam in a courtroom drama biopic directed by Avinash Arun, with filming underway through late 2025 into 2026.
