Internet Reacts With Sarcasm And ‘Innovation’ Jokes
As the clip circulated online, social media users responded with both humour and sarcasm.
One user joked, “Banane dete, kya pata kuch aviskar hi ho jata (They should have let them try, who knows something might have been invented).”
Another added, “Ye policewale Bharat ko aatmanirbhar nahi banne denge (These policemen won’t let India become self-reliant).”
“Nobel prize na mile Bhartiyo ko, eske liye saazish kar rahi hai UP Police (UP Police is conspiring to ensure Indians don’t win a Nobel Prize),” someone else remarked.
“Ye toh technology ka apmaan hua (This is an insult to technology),” a person wrote humorously.
“Police walo ki hasi nhi rok pa rahe hai, ab naukri hai lekin andar se virodh toh unka bhi hai The police officers can’t stop laughing. It’s their job but deep down even they seem to agree with the protest,” an individual pointed out.
Another comment read, “Where is scientific temperament in this country? Agar naale se chai banti hai prove ho jaaye toh it would have been a great achievement (If it was proven that tea could be made from drain gas, it would have been a great achievement). The inventor would’ve got the Nobel prize (that too a real one).”
As per the report, the police have registered an FIR against six individuals linked to the demonstration.
