Taking a trip down memory lane, the actress looked back at her popular show Beyhadh and shared how that show altered the course of her career. “I didn’t know it then, but 2016 was the year my path shifted. Time passed. The impact stayed. Looking back with Beyhadh gratitude,” she wrote in the caption.

What Do We Know About Beyhadh?
Beyhadh is a romantic thriller television series which aired from 2016 to 2017. In the show Jennifer Winget played the role of Maya Mehrotra, a character that challenged established tropes on Indian television.
The show explored obsession, trauma, and emotional complexity at a time when such themes were rare in Indian television. Alongside Jennifer, the show also starred Kushal Tandon and Aneri Vajani in leading roles.
Following the success of Beyhadh, part 2 premiered in 2019 and starred Jennifer Winget, Ashish Chaudhary and Shivin Narang. But the show went off-air due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
