While Bollywood stars are often spotted buying luxury homes in the city’s upscale neighbourhoods, property deals involving famous surnames almost always grab attention especially when the addresses are in the heart
of Mumbai’s entertainment belt.
Now, Arbaaz Khan, brother of Salman Khan, has sold an apartment in Mumbai’s Andheri West for a whopping Rs 6.5 crore, according to property registration documents accessed by CRE Matrix.
The transaction was officially registered on May 5, 2026. The apartment is located in Tower B of the upscale Runwal Elegante residential project in Lokhandwala Complex, close to Infiniti Mall in Andheri West, one of Mumbai’s most popular celebrity-heavy neighbourhoods.
As per the documents, the apartment has a carpet area of 1,369 square feet and comes with two dedicated car parking spaces. The buyers reportedly paid stamp duty worth Rs 39 lakh for the deal. Andheri West has remained one of Mumbai’s busiest residential hotspots for years, particularly among actors, producers, entrepreneurs and entertainment professionals.
Interestingly, this isn’t the only recent real estate move linked to Arbaaz Khan. Earlier this year, the actor-filmmaker had purchased another apartment in Mumbai’s Jogeshwari area for Rs 2.78 crore, according to documents previously accessed by Zapkey.
That apartment is located on the 27th floor of the Autograph Residency building on Link Road in Jogeshwari West. The property reportedly has a RERA carpet area of 1,243 square feet and was purchased at a rate of over Rs 22,000 per square foot. The deal also included two parking spaces.
The Jogeshwari transaction was registered on February 17, 2026. Documents showed that over Rs 16 lakh was paid as stamp duty along with a registration fee of Rs 30,000.
Meanwhile, the Khan family’s association with Mumbai real estate appears to be expanding beyond just buying and selling homes.
Earlier this year, Atul Agnihotri, Salman Khan’s brother-in-law and husband of Alvira Khan, also made headlines after stepping into property redevelopment. According to property registration documents accessed by Liases Foras, Agnihotri’s firm Shivansai Homemaker Infra LLP is set to redevelop the decades-old Palimala Co-operative Housing Society building in Bandra.
The building, reportedly over 60 years old, consists of 11 members across a three-storey structure. Documents revealed that five flats in the society are owned by the Agnihotri family and their company, Reel Life Production Pvt Ltd.
The records further showed that the society’s members collectively own 8,565 square feet of MOFA carpet area and are expected to receive more than 12,400 square feet of RERA carpet area after redevelopment.
