According to a study by job search engine Adzuna, which reviewed 2.5 lakh job postings, an attempt was made to determine which foreign language can yield the highest salary package. Ten languages were analysed in this study. Let’s explore the languages that offer the highest salaries.
Chinese/Mandarin: The analysis revealed that the average salary for Chinese or Mandarin speakers was the highest at Rs 11,89,000. This is double the average salary in India. Reports indicate that the number of Chinese language speakers worldwide has rapidly increased. According to the job search platform Indeed, a foreign exchange trader who knows Chinese earns an average of US$127,251 per year. Indeed describes foreign exchange trading as a good career option for those proficient in Chinese.
French, Spanish and German: French, Spanish, and German rank among the five highest paying languages in the world, with average annual salaries of Rs 9,83,000, Rs 9,80,000, and Rs 9,51,000, respectively.
Arabic: According to job search platform Indeed, learning Arabic can open up many promising job opportunities. Numerous startups, companies, and investors seek translators who can translate from Arabic to English. According to Adzuna, Arabic is the sixth highest paying language in the world.
