The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has announced the tentative examination schedule for the Common Recruitment Process (CRP) for Public Sector Banks (PSBs) and Regional Rural Banks (RRBs)
for the 2026-2027 period. The schedule includes various exams such as CRP PO/MT-XVI (Probationary Officers/Management Trainees), CRP SPL-XVI (Specialist Officers), CRP CSA-XVI (Customer Service Associates), and CRP RRBs-XV (Officers Scale I, II & III, and Office Assistants). The notification is available on the official website, ibps.in.
For Public Sector Banks, the preliminary examination for CRP PO/MT-XVI will take place on November 21 and 22, 2026, with the main examination scheduled for December 20, 2026. The CRP SPL-XVI (Specialist Officers) will conduct its main examination on December 2, 2026, without a preliminary exam. The preliminary examination for CRP CSA-XVI (Customer Service Associates) is planned for December 6, 12, and 13, 2026, followed by the main examination on January 30, 2027.
For Regional Rural Banks, the preliminary exam for Officer Scale I under CRP RRBs-XV will be held on November 21 and 22, 2026. Officers Scale II and III will be selected through a single examination on December 20, 2026. The preliminary examination for Office Assistants is scheduled for December 6, 12, and 13, 2026, with the main examination on January 30, 2027.

Registration Process
The application process will be conducted online, and there will be a single registration for both the Preliminary and Main examinations, where applicable. Candidates must upload the following documents according to the specifications provided in the notification:
1. Photograph of the Applicant – 20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg format
2. Signature of the Applicant – 10 kb to 20 kb in .jpeg format
3. Thumb impression of the Applicant – 20 kb to 50 kb in .jpeg format
4. Scanned Copy of a handwritten declaration as per the format available in the notification – 50 kb to 100 kb in .jpeg format
According to the official notice, the uploaded photograph must be a recent passport-sized colour photo and clearly visible. Candidates will also need to capture and upload their “live photograph” during the application process using either a webcam or a mobile phone. The uploaded signature must be clearly visible and not in capital letters.
