It is now official that Ram Charan’s much-anticipated film Peddi, also starring Janhvi Kapoor, has been postponed once again, leaving fans disappointed. The makers confirmed the delay through an official update,
adding that a new release date will be announced soon. It is to be noted that this is the third time the film’s release has been postponed. It was first scheduled to release on March 27, but it was then shifted to April 30.
The makers took to their Instagram handle and shared the news. They confirmed that the release has been pushed and they will soon announce a new release date. The caption reads, “We want to give our audience nothing but the best. #PEDDI in cinemas this June.” This update comes after Ram Charan had confirmed that the film is progressing as planned and the talkie portions are completed. He revealed that only one song remains to be shot. He also told the team, “Promote your film well, Peddi won’t be late.”

Peddi Postponed Due To Incomplete Shoot?
Earlier, 123Telugu reported that a few key portions of the film are yet to be shot, and with the remaining schedule, it looks tough for the makers to release the film on April 30. If these reports about the film’s postponement are true, this will be the third time the release has been pushed, first from March 27, 2026, to April 30, and now potentially beyond.
Recently, it was reported that Ram Charan sustained an eye injury while filming the sports drama. Ram’s team confirmed the news, and while speaking to HT, a source said, “Ram Charan was shooting for an action episode yesterday (Tuesday) and was injured. He had to get four sutures for it. He was injured above his eye, not his eye, like some seem to believe. His eye is fine. He is back to work as it’s a minor injury, and there’s nothing to worry about.”
