What is the story about?
The Karnataka Cabinet has approved an increase of ₹8 per litre in Nandini milk prices from November 1. Of the hike, ₹7 per litre will go to farmers, while the remaining ₹1 will be allocated to milk cooperatives.
Farmers, who currently receive around ₹35 per litre, will now get ₹42 per litre. The existing incentive of ₹5 per litre will continue, taking the total amount received by farmers to ₹47 per litre.
