Trisha Krishnan has now shared a fresh set of pictures from Vijay’s swearing-in ceremony as the Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, and it is her caption that has grabbed the internet’s attention. Posting elegant
photos from the historic event held at Chennai’s Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium on May 10, Trisha wrote, “The love is always louder,” a line many online interpreted as a response to the trolling and speculation surrounding her presence at the ceremony. For the occasion, Trisha opted for a graceful turquoise-blue silk saree with gold detailing, paired with a cream blouse featuring delicate golden motifs. She completed the traditional look with a neatly tied bun adorned with white jasmine flowers, subtle makeup and elegant jewellery with red stone detailing.
Photos and videos from the event quickly went viral, with many fans calling her appearance one of the standout celebrity moments from Vijay’s oath-taking ceremony. Trisha was among the prominent film personalities present as C. Joseph Vijay officially took oath as Tamil Nadu Chief Minister after his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), emerged as the single largest party in the 2026 Assembly elections. TVK secured 108 seats before later crossing the majority mark with support from allied parties and independents, ending decades of DMK-AIADMK dominance in the state.

While social media conversations also focused on the absence of Vijay’s estranged wife Sangeetha and their children at the ceremony, Trisha’s attendance drew even more attention because of the long-running rumours surrounding the two stars. However, neither Vijay nor Trisha has ever publicly addressed or confirmed any relationship speculation.
The two actors share a long professional history and are considered one of Tamil cinema’s most popular on-screen pairs. Over the years, Vijay and Trisha have worked together in several successful films including Ghilli, Thirupaachi, Aathi, Kuruvi and Leo. Their friendship and camaraderie have remained visible even outside films, with Trisha frequently speaking warmly about Vijay in interviews over the years.
Videos from the swearing-in ceremony also showed Trisha warmly greeting Vijay’s family members, including his mother Shobha Chandrasekhar. Fans online noted that the actress looked visibly emotional and proud during several moments of the ceremony, especially while Vijay addressed the crowd after taking oath.
