A shocking video from Uttar Pradesh’s Rampur has surfaced on social media showing a man driving a gypsy with another person clinging to the bonnet for nearly 15 minutes.
The footage shows the driver recklessly
speeding and even spinning the vehicle as people chase him on foot, while the man on the bonnet struggles to hold on. The incident took place on Wednesday afternoon at Kemri Tirahe on the Bilaspur Highway, and a video of the episode has since surfaced.
The speeding Gypsy first collided with an e-rickshaw, injuring its driver. When the injured man tried to block the vehicle, the driver accelerated, causing him to land on the bonnet and driving with him there for nearly 15 minutes before finally stopping.
When bystanders began shouting at the driver, the young man started spinning the Gypsy in circles. It was only after continuous shouting from the crowd that he finally stopped, allowing the injured e-rickshaw driver to be rescued.
Upon receiving information, Kotwali police reached the spot. Then they apprehended the Gypsy driver and took him with them.

The incident has triggered outrage online, with many users calling for strict action against the driver for endangering lives.
The arrested accused has been identified as Manpreet Singh, a resident of Sant Colony locality in the city. Action has been taken against him under sections for disturbing the peace. He has been sent to the SDM Court.
