Recently, Vijay Deverakonda took to his Instagram
handle and revealed that he is vacationing in Rome too. The actor dropped a series of pictures in which he was seen enjoying as he visited some of the tourist locations in the city. One of the photos also featured Vijay posing in front of the iconic Colosseum, whereas another featured a lady leaning her head on the actor’s shoulder. While the lady’s face wasn’t visible, fans believe that she is Rashmika.
“Happy new year my darling loves ❤️ May we grow up together, make great memories, do great things, spread love, cheer and life. Biggest kisses and hugs to all of you. 🤗❤️,” Vijay wrote in the caption of his post.
Interestingly, just a few days back, Rashmika also posted a mix of photos and videos from the vacation, giving a peek into quiet celebrations, candle prayers, and time spent with close friends. While most of the posts showed Rashmika enjoying the city, a few subtle clips featuring Vijay quickly caught attention online. Fans zoomed in on these moments, especially one where Rashmika fed Vijay dessert before tasting it herself.
Reportedly, Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna got engaged privately in October 2025, surrounded by close family members. While the couple hasn’t announced their engagement as of now, a report by Hindustan Times recently claimed that the wedding is scheduled for February 26, 2026, and will take place at a palace in Udaipur.
A source revealed that no celebrity guests will be invited and the event will be a private ceremony. “Rashmika and Vijay’s wedding is planned at one of Udaipur’s heritage palaces. Much like their engagement, the ceremony will be a close-knit affair with only their loved ones in attendance,” the insider added.
