of BTS, BANGTANTV, released a new episode titled “J-hope @ Lollapalooza Berlin 2025”, which captured his time at the festival. The episode also featured J-Hope meeting IVE, Gracie Abrams and Justin Timberlake backstage, who were also performing at the music festival. At one point, J-Hope was seen receiving a warning. No, not the serious kind, but a playful one from the NSYNC star.
As the episode played, the BTS star was seen enjoying Justin Timberlake’s performance at Lollapalooza Berlin, just a day before his performance, and then making sure to meet him backstage. J-Hope, who has been a longtime admirer of the 44-year-old singer and actor, approached him to say hello. During his meeting, the BTS member proudly mentioned to Justin that he is in the same band as Jungkook, with whom the latter has worked on the song 3D. The Mirrors singer immediately recognised him, greeted him warmly and talked about their fondness for food.
Justin Timberlake Joked That He Would Prank Call J-Hope
Further, Justin even asked J-Hope to exchange numbers. In the video, as the Mona Lisa singer was seen punching in his number, Justin joked that J-Hope might soon be getting prank calls from him. While the latter felt “honoured” that Justin asked for his number, he said, “Be careful though, ‘cause I’m gonna prank call you.” J-Hope initially failed to understand what Justin told him, but once one of his staff members explained to him, the BTS star started laughing. Once the video aired on the platform, fans shared that they loved the friendly interaction between the two singers.
Previously, the K-pop singer took to his Instagram handle and shared a series of pictures from the music festival. In one of them, J-Hope was seen with Justin Timberlake. The picture captured the two in all smiles as the Sexy Back singer kept his arm around J-Hope’s shoulder. While the K-pop sensation looked dapper in a black leather jacket, Justin opted for a red jacket and looked stylish.
