with the utmost devotion and joy. After hosting Bappa for five days, Ranbir Kapoor and his mother Neetu Kapoor were seen bidding goodbye to Bappa, and performing Ganpati Visarjan rituals. Several paparazzi videos that have surfaced on social media show Ranbir holding Lord Ganesha’s idol as he and Neetu Kapoor stepped out for Ganpati Visarjan.

While the Animal actor looked dapper in a blue kurta and white pajama, Neetu Kapoor looked elegant in a white ethnic suit. They were seen chanting ‘Ganpati Bappa Morya’. Another video shows the mother-son duo performing Ganpati Pooja before visarjan. Another video showed Ranbir and Neetu Kapoor with folded hands as they bid farewell to Bappa. On Wednesday, when Alia Bhatt and Ranbir welcomed Ganpati Bappa home, the actress took to her Instagram Story and wrote, “Happy Ganesh Chaturthi! Wishing love, luck and prosperity to you and your loved ones.” Alia also shared a picture of the beautiful Ganpati idol at her house.
Meanwhile, in other news, Ranbir Kapoor was spotted in Mumbai earlier today. He teamed up with Panchayat actor Jitendra Kumar, and a behind-the-scenes video from the sets left fans excited about their collaboration. While there has been no official confirmation, fans are speculating whether the duo has teamed up for an advertisement. They were seen shooting on a balcony, and their co-ordinated ethnic outfits as well as the decor, suggested that it might be a festive-themed shoot.
On the professional front, Ranbir Kapoor will next be seen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s Love and War alongside Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal. The film is touted to be an epic love story set against the backdrop of war, and is set to release in theatres in March 2026. The actor also has Nitesh Tiwari’s two-part epic film, Ramayana, in the line-up. He will be playing the role of Lord Ram in the movies.
