Shararat, featuring two stunning performers, Krystle D’Souza and Ayesha Khan, also received immense love.
In an interview with The Times of India, Krystle spoke about how overwhelmed she feels by the positive response to her moves. She also expressed her gratitude to the film’s director, Aditya Dhar, for believing in her. Additionally, the actress shared warm words about her co-performer and dancing partner, Ayesha Khan.
Krystle Is Overwhelmed With The Response
Krystle shared that the overwhelming love coming her way has been deeply heartening. She revealed that her inbox has been flooded with dance reels, covers, and screenshots highlighting viewers’ favourite moments from the song, Shararat. For her, the experience feels especially rewarding because something she truly enjoyed performing has also resonated strongly with the audience, reaffirming her passion for her craft.
She also expressed sincere gratitude towards filmmaker Aditya Dhar for trusting her with the song. Krystle mentioned that his faith in her meant a great deal and added that Shararat gave her the opportunity to showcase a side of herself that audiences may not have seen before.
She further elaborated, “Dance numbers today aren’t just about glamour. They give you the space to act, emote, and truly perform, and I enjoyed exploring that.” The Ek Hazaro Mein Meri Behna Hai actress also explained that the visibility this song gave her is something she is grateful for and she feels like it’s the beginning of something much bigger.
On Working With Ayesha Khan
Krystle shared that she and Ayesha were on the same page from the very beginning, maintaining mutual respect and stepping in to support each other whenever needed. She added, “When both performers are confident, sharing the spotlight only enhances the performance.”
She further mentioned that sharing the spotlight has never made her uncomfortable. Krystle believes there is room for everyone to shine, and once you focus on delivering your best, comparisons automatically lose relevance. “I’ve never viewed another actress on set as competition, especially in a creative space like a song,” she stated
Krystle also shared in the interview that while sharing screen space with Ranveer Singh would have been exciting given his unmatched energy, she is happy with how Shararat holds its own identity.
