Shah Rukh Khan once again proved why he’s often called the “King of Hearts.” During a recent outing in Dubai, the superstar was seen showing a humble gesture towards a restaurant chef, a moment that has
since gone viral, winning over fans across social media.
A short video shared by the chef himself captures Shah Rukh in his signature charm. As the actor prepares to leave the restaurant, he pauses to greet the chef with an ‘adab’ gesture and a warm handshake. He also waves at the kitchen staff before exiting, leaving everyone smiling in admiration. His manager, Pooja Dadlani, is spotted alongside him in the clip.
In the video, Shah Rukh keeps his look simple yet effortlessly stylish dressed in a black T-shirt, jeans, and a beanie. The clip quickly spread online, with fans calling him “humble king” and “King Khan for a reason.” One user wrote, “Dude’s day has been made,” while another commented, “Very respected person Shah Rukh Khan and very gentleman.”
The viral video comes at a time when Shah Rukh is enjoying a milestone year. The actor, who turned 60 earlier this month, recently won his first-ever National Award for Best Actor for his performance in Jawan, directed by Atlee.
On his birthday, fans were also treated to the first look of his much-awaited film King, directed by Siddharth Anand and backed by Red Chillies Entertainment and Marflix Pictures. The action drama stars Shah Rukh alongside his daughter Suhana Khan, with a stellar ensemble that includes Deepika Padukone, Jackie Shroff, Rani Mukerji, Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Jaideep Ahlawat, and Abhay Verma. The film is slated to release in 2026.
According to a report by Bollywood Hungama, King is being mounted on an unprecedented budget of ₹350 crore, positioning it among the costliest action films ever produced in India. Director Siddharth Anand — who previously redefined Bollywood action with Pathaan and War — is said to be approaching the project with the ambition of creating an Indian blockbuster that can rival Hollywood’s best, but on a fraction of the cost.
