Blending tradition with diplomacy, the Ambassador of Japan to India, Ono Keiichi, welcomed Rajasthan’s Deputy Chief Minister Diya Kumari at his residence in New Delhi on Friday, August 22. The Japanese
dignitary warmly greeted the western Indian state’s Deputy CM while wearing the traditional attire of his native country.
Keiichi took the Deputy CM into a tatami-matted room adorned with a vertical calligraphy scroll, as the ambassador shared in a post. Another image captured him preparing matcha tea for Diya Kumari in a wonderful moment of India-Japan unity.
