Singer Armaan Malik has shared a post on X (formerly Twitter), urging fans to stop pitting him against his brother Amaal Mallik. It all began after a recent viral X post sparked a debate among fans. The
viral post shared by a netizen claimed that Amaal had the highest number of listeners on a music streaming app, surpassing his brother Armaan Malik, their father Daboo Malik, and uncle Anu Malik. Many fans jumped in to defend both brothers, urging others to stop the comparisons, saying Amaal himself wouldn’t approve. Now, Armaan has shared a statement on X, urging the fandoms to end the comparisons, and stop trying to pit them against each other.
Armaan Malik Wants Fans to Stop Pitting Him And Amaal Mallik Against Each Other
On Saturday, Armaan Malik took to X and wrote, “I genuinely don’t understand why a section of the fandom keeps trying to pit me and Amaal against each other. Our paths are different, but our joy has always come from seeing each other grow and succeed. Please end the comparisons. We’re bigger than that.” He further added that there is a lot more music in store for fans, and that they shouldn’t waste their energy on the comparisons. “There’s too much exciting music and momentum coming in the new year to waste energy on this. Let’s stand united, move forward together, and let the music do all the talking peace & love x,” he wrote.

Meanwhile, earlier in October, while Amaal was still in the Bigg Boss 19 house, Armaan came to his brother’s defence after a netizen claimed that Amaal was jealous of his brother’s success. He called Amaal the ‘most selfless’ person he knows, saying that he has quietly made sacrifices for Armaan’s success. He fired back at the netizen, urging them not to spin fake stories about him or his brother without knowing the full truth.
“Behind every success story, there’s someone quietly sacrificing. For me, that’s my brother Amaal, the proudest, most selfless human I know. Please don’t jump to conclusions or create fake narratives.. you don’t know the full story,” wrote Armaan Malik.
