Mike Tyson, one of the greatest heavyweight boxers of all time, is set to appear on Bigg Boss 19 as a guest. A source told Times of India that the makers are in “advanced talks” with him and his team to join the show. They are reportedly negotiating his fees. “If the deal works out, he is expected to enter the house in October for a week or 10 days. The dates, however, are yet to be finalised,” the insider shared.
The source further opened up on the reason behind introducing an international star to the show. They revealed that the makers decided to bring an international celebrity to “boost the show’s appeal” as foreigners played a key role in giving Bigg Boss significant limelight in earlier seasons.

Bigg Boss 19 will premiere on JioHotstar and Colors TV on Sunday, August 24. The digital-first season will be hosted by Salman Khan for the first three months. Afterwards, guest hosts like Farah Khan, Karan Johar, and Anil Kapoor may take over for the remaining period. This year, the show will release fresh episodes first on Jio Hotstar, followed by Colors TV telecast after approximately one and a half hours.
