What Yami Gautam Thinks About Going Under The Knife
Not just with her appearance, Yami knows how to win hearts with her candid take on different topics as well. During a recent event in Mumbai, the actress was asked to share her views on cosmetic surgeries and going ‘under the knife’ and whether she has ever done the same ever. Replying, Yami said that she believes only ‘aloo and pyaaz (onions and potatoes)’ should go under the knife and not humans.
In her words, “Mujhe lagta hai under the knife sirf aloo aur pyaaz ko hona chahiye (I feel only onions and potatoes should be under the knife).”
Yami also had something to say about celebs opting for cosmetic surgeries. She added, “I’m no one to preach to anyone, I’m no one to give anyone advice, especially when you’re addressing a general public.”
Yami Gautam’s Next Film
Even Yami Gautam’s work speaks for her. Last seen in Dhoom Dhaam, the actress is now set to feature alongside Emraan Hashmi in a courtroom drama inspired by the landmark 1985 Shah Bano vs Ahmed Khan case. It is the second instalment in filmmaker Suparn S Varma’s courtroom trilogy.
About the film, a source told Hindustan Times earlier this year in April, “Yami and Emraan are leading this impactful courtroom drama and have finished the shooting schedule. A lot of research has gone into the script to ensure authenticity and the film boasts of several long and intense courtroom scenes. Yami plays Shah Bano, while Emraan’s character draws from Ahmed Khan.”
The film is expected to be released later this year.
